HOW TO COMPETE

Welcome to The KovaaK's League! You'll need two things to get started competing:

Download and install KovaaK's from Steam. When you load up the game for the first time, you'll be presented with a configuration wizard that will guide you through the setup process. We suggest using your config from a game you're familiar with so you can get up to speed as fast as possible.

Next, you'll need to get your recording/streaming software set up. Beebom has a complete setup guide for Nvidia's Instant Replay feature of the Geforce Experience. We strongly recommend setting your Instant Replay to at least 2 minutes to help prevent cutting off portions of your runs.

We strongly recommend streaming your runs over recording locally to help prevent issues with corrupt files.

Next, read the rules in their entirety. Failure to follow these rules will result in a forfeiture of points.

After you've got your video recording/streaming method configured and have read the rules, just load up the game, start your stream (or turn on Instant Replay), and search the KovaaK's workshop for "TKL" scenarios. The season operates on a weekly schedule from Wednesday, 8PM EDT, to Wednesday, 8PM EDT. Scenarios will always start with the prefix "TKL". Load up each of the scenarios and shoot for high scores!
Make sure to save a video if you place top 10 in a scenario! You'll need this video to score larger point totals.

At the end of the week the scenarios will be removed from the Workshop and the scores will be uploaded to the TKL scoreboard. If you've placed top 10 in any of these scenarios, you'll need to submit the video you recorded of your run. To find out if you need to submit a score, just sign in using your Steam account. If you have a score that requires video submission, there will be a "SUBMIT VIDEOS" button next to your avatar in the header bar. Just click that button and follow the instructions to submit your videos. Once you've submitted videos for all runs that require them, the notification at the top will disappear.
